at The Divine Life Playhouse

CommUNITY Garden Meetup

We meet Tuesdays from 6-7:30pm and alternate between demonstrations and projects to keep our garden growing strong.

Join us to help with watering, weeding, planting, and harvesting.   We usually work/play together for about 45 minutes and then enjoy a glass of lemonade or iced tea on the front porch while sampling something delicious that we pick that day.

We meet almost every Tuesday during the warm seasons and at least monthly during the cold winter months.  There is always something to do when you have a year round garden.   Even in the winter there is lots of fresh lettuce and spinach to pick from under the hoop house where the garden beds stay warm and dry.

Are you interested in GROWING YOUR OWN FOOD?!?

The Divine Life Playhouse CommUNITY Garden was started in 2013, and we have been GROWING ever since.  We have a year round vegetable garden, and a spring and summer tea and herb garden.   This winter we hope to build a small greehouse for our winter seed planting.

We are learning about biodynamic practices for growing our own food in an urban setting... or anywhere there's DIRT!

Come get your hands in the garden and learn how to grow your own food.

For more information about our schedule and projects, join the facebook CommUNITY Garden group.

We have a simple but potent collection in our library. Some of the best resources about biodynamic gardening and homesteading. You can look through the books, gardening magazines, and seed catalogs while you are here. If you come on "Dirty Tuesdays" to help in our CommUNITY Garden you can borrow gloves and tools from the garden cart. We have everything you need to learn how to grow your own food.
